Do I need to install anything?
No. DARIL is a single HTML file. Save it and open it in your browser — no installer, no admin rights, no executable. In locked-down environments, that's the point.
Does it work offline?
Completely. DARIL never needs an internet connection to run, and it never transmits your data anywhere. It works the same on an air-gapped machine as it does online.
Where is my data stored?
In your file, on your machine. Nothing is uploaded, synced, or tracked. You own the file and everything in it, and you can back it up like any other document.
Can I use it with MS Project or my existing Gantt?
Yes. DARIL doesn't replace your scheduler and doesn't try to. Build your Gantt wherever you prefer and attach it — DARIL governs the decisions, risks, issues, actions, and lessons around the schedule.
What's the difference between DARIL and DARIL+?

Does it work on iPad or mobile?
DARIL is designed for desktop browsers on Windows, macOS, and Linux. It isn't supported on iPad, iPhone, or other mobile devices, where the browser restricts how a local file stores its data and your work may not save reliably. For DARIL, use a laptop or desktop.
Does it work with AI assistants like Copilot?
Yes. DARIL is plain, structured text on screen, so an assistant such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude running alongside it can read the whole register and answer questions about it — summaries, slipping items, recurring risks, status updates. The file describes itself, so the assistant knows what it's looking at. DARIL itself transmits nothing; because it stays on your machine, you control what you choose to share with an assistant.
